PARK PLACE PLACEMAKING SOLUTION SECURED

Hume Planning has successfully secured permission after being invited to review a project with a history of planning refusals in the Conservation Area of Margate.

After a review of the background, Hume Planning identified a strategy to move forward that balanced the clients’ aspirations but also creatively addressed the previous concerns of the LPA. After conveying the brief to the team architect and further negotiations with the LPA, the Practice was able to obtain a successful approval which required a balancing of design, residential amenity, heritage and parking issues.

We now look forward to seeing the contemporary design built out which will make effective use of a small parcel of land close to the heart of Margate.
