NEW LEASE OF LIFE FOR LISTED GEORGIAN PROPERTY IN RAMSGATE

Planning and listed building consent has been secured under delegated approval for the internal and external alterations to a listed dwellinghouse along Nelson Crescent in Ramsgate.

Following discussions with LPA officers and the conservation officer throughout the course of the application, the proposals were considered to provide significant benefits which will allow for this large Georgian property to be rescued from a state of disrepair and ensure its sustained use through significant and sensitive improvement works to the building. Hume Planning Consultancy understand that the works are due to commence shortly and is pleased to see the building brought back into use as a family dwelling overlooking Ramsgate Royal Harbour.
