EASTRY VILLAGE EXPANSION APPROVED BY MEMBERS

The application was successfully resolved to be approved by the Planning Committee securing a mix of age restricted and open market housing (34 dwellings in total) at the edge of the village of Eastry beyond the designated settlement confines.

Hume Planning assembled the consultancy team in a range of disciplines including architect, drainage, transport, heritage and ecologist. Although a departure from policy, the LPA officer was able to support the scheme, being satisfied with the justification for development and the quality of the scheme design.
