ANIMAL HYDROTHERAPY CENTRE APPROVED

Hume Planning has successfully secured planning permission for the erection of an animal hydrotherapy centre at Eastling Down Farm.

Whilst the proposal was a new type of venture for Hume Planning, we consider that health and well-being are important aspects of planning (for all creatures big and small), and the practice worked with the Clients and Dover District Council to reach the decision, during which matters of policy interpretation were raised and overcome.

The approved hydrotherapy centre assists in the diversification of the existing cattery business on the site, supporting the district’s rural economy, and will be the only operational animal hydrotherapy centre within the Dover district.

It is hoped the construction will commence early next year.
