NASH ROAD/MANSTON ROAD MOVES CLOSER TO DELIVERY

250 Dwellings and Road Bypass secured at the edge of Margate.

Thanet District Council recently approved this development of 250 dwellings which will deliver a key section of infrastructure which will bypass a known congestion and air quality hotspot in the district and will improve access for an adjoining primary school to allow it to expand. There were many issues that the Practice needed to resolve and because of the abnormal costs, scheme viability was critical to the delivery of the scheme with a reduced percentage of affordable housing provision agreed with the LPA in order to bring the site forward.
