BREATHING NEW LIFE INTO 16TH CENTURY BUILDING

Hume Planning Consultancy has secured both planning and Listed Building Consent for the revitalisation of a 16th Century building located in the centre of the Sandwich Conservation Area.

The building had been the subject of planning enforcement in Summer 2020 prior to our involvement. Hume Planning Consultancy worked successfully with the Applicant and Dover District Council’s Heritage team to regularise the works already undertaken, as well as to include additional works to secure the building’s long-term future, protecting its heritage value for years to come.

We are pleased to have been involved in the restoration of this building and look forward to seeing its future secured.
