Cheriton parc - new chapter for “old saga”

Hume Planning Consultancy on behalf of MJH Cheriton Parc Ltd have successfully secured the repurposing of the former Eurotunnel and Saga Offices (Cheriton Parc House) to create 50 apartments facilitated by the redevelopment of the surrounding car park and grounds to create 36 new dwellings.

The planning application was granted permission at Planning Committee in February 2024 after lengthy design and technical negotiations with the members accepting that on balance housing need and the quality of the overall scheme proposal should outweigh policies seeking to protect employment uses in this particular case. We look forward to seeing this vacant site come forward.
