450 Dwelling Gibraltar Farm Scheme Moves Another Step Forward on the Medway/Maidstone Border

As a cross boundary application and following a recent resolution by Medway Council to approve this development, Hume Planning are pleased that Maidstone’s Council Planning Committee also approved the duplicate application on the 17th October 2024.

The Gibraltar Farm scheme has had a long history with an original planned access link from North Dane Way blocked because of a land ownership issue.

The sanctioning of this alternative proposal by both Maidstone Borough and Medway Council will allow the long planned 450 dwellings to still come forward in the event that the preferred access from North Dane Way still cannot be secured.
