23 HOMES GIVEN THE GO-AHEAD IN MINSTER

Following presentation at the May Planning Committee, members agreed with the Officer’s recommendations to approve the proposed development of 23 no. dwellings following the demolition of existing buildings (with associated parking, open space, landscaping and footpath to Monkton Road), subject to the completion of a S106 legal agreement.

The Practice worked with the LPA and KCC Highways to finalise the scheme on the previously developed site, which took account of the nearby heritage asset (Hoo Farmhouse), landscape considerations and connectivity to the nearby village of Minster through the provision of a 1.2m wide footpath within the existing highway channel.

The Practice is working with the Applicant in the finalisation of the S106 legal agreement, to enable works on the site to commence as soon as possible.
