This site represents one of the best coastline locations in Thanet with views over the North Foreland Golf Course and Joss Bay beyond. The site was highly sensitive because of its proximity to the conservation area and the narrowness of the local roads. A number of appeals were prosecuted with planning permission secured through with the Inspector recognising overall benefits despite the level of local opposition.
