Close to the heart of Dover, for Dover District Council Housing Estates Team, Hume Planning was instructed to appraise the potential of a long-standing brownfield site. Our role involved early engagement upon viability issues and the scale of potential floor space that could be achievable, given the site constraints. Hume Planning later negotiated planning approval and the high-quality result has been recognised, winning design awards and also delivering 65 much-needed affordable housing units for Dover District Council.
