At a prominent hillside site containing listed buildings overlooking the English Channel, Hume Planning worked closely with Hollaway Architects. The scheme involved new-build apartments and environmental improvements to the site which facilitated the conversion and extension of the original listed Coastguard Cottages. Hume Planning worked closely with Dover’s Heritage Officer and the Design Panel as well as engaging with local community and ward councillors. Construction work is underway, and we are confident that the development will have a positive impact on its surroundings.
