DOVER LEISURE CENTRE HAS OPENED TO THE PUBLIC FOLLOWING THE SECURING OF PLANNING PERMISSION BY HUME PLANNING

The new £26 million Dover District Leisure Centre has opened in Whitfield after a successful attempt to gain planning permission by Hume Planning. Featuring the first swimming pool in Kent to be built to Sport England specifications for country standard competition, this scheme represents a fantastic opportunity to bring state of the art facilities to the people of Dover.

The new Leisure Centre hopes to address the identified shortfall in sports and leisure provision within the District whilst generating a significant level of employment.
