DISTRICT PARK NON-ALLOCATED EMPLOYMENT HUB IN MANSTON

In June 2022, planning permission was secured for a detailed employment scheme on a non-allocated site, with members at Thanet District Councils Planning Committee accepting the needs case made by HPC for the release of 18 acres of additional employment land as a departure from the recently adopted local plan. Following further input into the S106, the decision notice was issued in September 2022. We wish the 1948 Group all the best in delivering a significant “employment hub” in the district where jobs are much needed.
