Former Wine Warehouse Age & Sons Set to Revitalise

Located off Charlotte Court and hidden among the backstreets of Ramsgate, Age & Sons has been sitting vacant for many years. The building has now been given the opportunity for a new lease of life following planning approval being secured for its change of use to restaurant/café, co-working offices, and bar/event space, led by Heritage Lab CIC. Hume Planning worked with Thanet DC Officers to secure delegated approval for the proposals in December 2023.

Originally a wine merchant and warehouse, the building has also been occupied by a martial arts club and restaurant in the past. The building, which also lies within the conservation area, will be sensitively refurbished as part of the conversion works.
