PLANNING PERMISSION SECURED FOR FLINT COTTAGES IN THE HEART OF BIRCHINGTON’S CONSERVATION AREA

Tucked away adjacent to an existing terrace of cottages with an outlook over the quiet and sylvan grounds of All Saints Church is a gem of a site for which Hume Planning has secured planning permission for a characterful development of two flint cottages.

Engaging with LPA heritage and planning officers, matters relating to heritage setting, tree protection, grain and scale of development, design and relationship with adjacent buildings were resolved. We believe that the development provides a creative and sensitive response to the site, making the most of underutilised land within Birchington’s town centre.
