PLANNING & LISTED BUILDING CONSENT SECURED FOR RESIDENTIAL CONVERSION AND RESTORATION AT SHOTTENDANE FARM

In April 2023, detailed planning and listed building consent was given by Thanet District Council for the change of use and conversion of two historic farm buildings into two dwellings at Shottendane Farm, Shottendane Road, Margate.

Hume Planning Consultancy worked alongside the project team in order obtain the permissions following positive discussions with Council Planning Officers. The proposal will enable the re-use and sensitive restoration of the existing curtilage listed buildings which lie within the setting of Grade II Shottendane Farmhouse. The permission represents a further phase of development associated with the redevelopment of the wider farmstead for seven dwellings which our Practice obtained for the existing landowner in March 2022.
